Buffalo Bill Gates’ New Ranch

You can call him Buffalo Bill Gates because the Microsoft billionaire just bought a ranch that used to belong to Buffalo Bill, the poster boy of the American west. His new Irma Lake Lodge estate abuts the Shoshone Forest in Wyoming and is dotted with grassy knolls, forests, groves, and four (yes, four) lakes and three ponds, which are all well stocked with a variety of fish species.

Gates, ahem, Buffalo Bill paid $9 million for the very verdant, 492-acre package that includes an updated 15,000-square-foot log cabin, a five-bedroom guesthouse, the original Buffalo Bill cabin, and a caretaker’s house. The stables and dairy cabin on site will, no doubt, come in handy should he require some beastly strength to keep up with all that grass.
